Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 was better then candy
I went out tonight and I saw Rob Zombie's cover of Halloween 2. I saw his other cover of Halloween in 2007. It made me jump twice. It was scary. I was watching Ghost Hunters on SYFY/SciFi and they advertised for RZ's Halloween 2. They showed a sneak peek and a interview with Rob. Rob said he made the second one his own and went his own way with it. I read in HorrorHound where Shei Moon said they had to change the child Michael Meyers because the other one had some growth changes. It was not tacky like most horror movies now that only want the shock value of being a bloody porn without the x rating and blue room shit. It was not boring either. It was poetic in a Mark Ryden kind of way. In one part the child version of Michael Meyers wanted to show his mother that he found his sister boo. He took Sheri to this table and the winter scene compiled with the mask and Tim Burton/Mark Ryden artsy view was lovely. Sheri did kind of look the way she did in the Living Dead Girl gear, but she looked like an angel. She had this gorgeous white horse with her and it was breath taking. The movie was over the top and it is worth going and seeing in theaters; plus buying the DVD as well. I took pictures of both my movie ticket stubs and they're at the top.
I wanted to write something with substance. I don't get a chance to do that because I'm hardly ever online it seems.
I thought about giving you all some Bowie to listen to, or maybe even some Metallica lyrics.
They say that there are over 1,000 color choices with paint. They also say that all those choices come form three basic colors. I personally do not think that I'm one to hand out advice and quotes on anything. So in that case; here is to always being honest and chances. If first impressions are everything then why do we spend our time wasting chances like they grow on trees? I do not believe in wasting chances. Life does not wait and why should it. You don't have a spare in your pocket; so don't act like it.
